Wow, another year has come and gone and it's bloody scary how fast 2009 flew by. I believe some kind of annual sum up is in order.

It sure was an eventful year with loads of changes, so far most of them for good. Though there was quite a bit of trauma along the way as well, especially in the emotional department. Yet couple days prior to New Years it was finally all sorted and fixed for the good. Damn, do I dare say that I just might be on the right track to be actually happy this year? Nah, I'll skip myself the whole jinx routine.

A great bonus was the whole holiday season. Even though I haven't been one to enjoy the whole Xmasy bullshit for a couple years now, I admit that I got the best Christmas gift of my entire life and doubt I'll ever get anything that will ever beat that - cheers Murphy!

Art wise this past year has been boring and unproductive - too many other things has me distracted, mainly various health issues and my stupid college. Ah, yes my sweet, sweet farce of a college has become a full blown circus these past few months and this next month will show if I'll manage to past the year. On the bright side, it's not only me - my whole group is facing the same, great unknown. So here's a big cheers to this fucked up country.

In fact these upcoming two months got big changes in store for me. Save for the bullshit with my college, I got the critical 25th bday coming up, which is bound to end in some crisis of unimaginable proportions. Especially with all the rumors of various, crazy plans my friends seem to be coming up with lately. Oh and I've finally decided to temporarily give up my vagabond, globe hopping ways and settle in one place for longer and give the normal life a try. It's back to my sweet, good ol' England for me, so ya better be prepared for this Niall. Let's see if I manage not to sink the island while I'm at it, eh?

All in all, I don't think 2009 can be counted as a wasted year for me. It sure was a wild ride and I can't wait to see what this brand new one has in store for me. So cheers to all and little quote for ya guys, courtesy of Murphy and his brilliance.

Bout time I added a new journal entry, even though there's litte I'd wanna actually add *chuckle* It's pretty much the same ol' drill with the college work and ya usual life. There's been plenty of shit going on as well, but nothing I'd wanna put on the public display.

Out of the more relevant info: I'm really glad to see the launch of groups - finally something that should draw me back to DA for good (least now that Dweller ain't really around ). I also got some photos to dig through and submit, so yay for actual artsy updates.

Ok so I finally know what the banhammer for !Steel-Girl and !bowerydweller was for and I must say that that is fucking ridiculous and more than unfair.

I know that Clever couldn't care less in the long run 'bout her account, but it's such a bloody waste of Steely's years' old account (a few times fueled by my subscriptions even) - there goes a good chunk of someone's life down the drain together with their work, people's inputs and comments. And for what? Because DA once again proves to lack a fundemental sense of humor. No one got hurt, no one's feathers got ruffled, no tartlet had to run off and threaten to cut and cry. It was a mutal joke and the only problem with it was that it unfortunatly made it to the front of Today's page, hence drawing unnecessary attention.

I have a tendency to skim through random people's journals, because frankly the amount of bs and stupidity out there makes for funny reading. Sure, it puts my faith in Darwin and natural selection to the test, but in the long run it just makes ya days a little brighter. And in all honesty I've seen waaaaay worse shit out there, with plenty of bashing and flaming targeted at other idiots and I hardly see them get banned. Even better is the drama stirred around the high profile users. Everybody, say hello to double standards. Maybe if both of them were known for some dodgey furry art or blunt popular anime rip offs, then nothing would have happened.

Just... ehhh.

Ho boy, it's been a while since I showed my mug around here.

Been busy with life, everything's been a tad hectic, but finally things are looking bloody fucking fine *smirks*

The summer is drawing to an end and I must say it's been a fruitful one - met many great people, formed some promising friendships, actually done good stuff with my life, achieved things and realized a lot more. It's a shame that the warm weather will soon enough fade and it will be the cold, lifeless gloom all over again, but then again I got a lot of great memories to keep me warm for the months to come. And some awsome plans, including having a great buddy come over and going to the Ramstein concert in november *fans self with the tickets*

I've actually been drawing a little and started writing again, to my own great surprise. Ya can see a sample of it in my gallery, will be uploading more as I sort things with my uni and finish fixing my car.

Annnnnnd to make things more interesting, I see that two of my favorite trouble makers got their sorry asses banned and I'm dying from curiosity to know what kind of DArama am I missing now. Damnit, someone gimme the details!
